The subconscious mind is the part of your brain that's responsible for a lot of things. It's where your self-esteem lives, and it's also where your confidence comes from.
When you're doing something new or trying to learn something, your subconscious mind takes over. It takes charge and decides when you're ready to move on to the next step.
Your self-esteem is the way you feel about yourself, so if you have low self-esteem, it will be hard for your subconscious mind to let go of old habits and believe in yourself enough to try new things.
If your confidence is low, then it will be hard for your subconscious mind to trust that you can do something well—even if it's something as simple as walking across the room without falling down!
As mentioned above, whenever you attempt something new, you can feel that your subconscious pulls you back to your comfortable surroundings. So when you say something like "I'm not good enough" or "I can't do this," your subconscious mind takes those statements as truth and work towards making them factual.
This is why creating new routines or habits is so important if you want to change. By doing this, you've reconditioned your subconscious mind to act in your favour successfully.
